Vapour and Dry Blasting
Tim Walker Restorations Ltd is a restorer of Vintage, Classic and PVT vehicles. we are a small, family business established in 1980. We are just 15 minutes drive from Aylesbury, Buckinghamshire, or 15 minutes from junction 9 of the M40. Because our business is restoring and maintaining beautiful old vehicles, we know how to take care with critical components.
We have a dry bead blast cabinet for smaller articles and we also have a Komet Vapour blaster. This fires boiling hot water, degreaser, rust-inhibitor and bead at 120 psi, out of a gun with a 1 inch nozzle. This cleans items such as engine/suspension components in a fraction of the usual time.
Blasting can remove paint and rust leaving a bare metal finish, ideal for metalwork or painting. It has a wide variety of uses for vehicle and motorcycle parts such as chassis, engineblock, frames, swingarms, subframes, wheels to smaller components. Blasting is suitable for any component in need of clean up prior to a repaint.
We can also arrange 2-pack frame painting on request.
We carry out this work for our own customers and also clean for other workshops. We are happy to clean items for you on an hourly basis.
